About WSTA:

Watan’s Social and Technical Services Association (WSTA) is a Nonprofit and Non-Governmental Organization which was established in 1992 with the aim to provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable Afghan communities. WSTA is registered with the Ministry of Economy under license number 352, and with UNOPS office, based on code No. WON and registration No. OPS-CR-0535. WSTA is member of ANCB and ACBAR.

Since its establishment, WSTA has supported the most vulnerable and conflict-affected men, women and children. We have partnered with UNHCR, UNOCHA, UNWFP, IOM, IRC, Care International, Australia Aid, Canada Fund and Relief International to provide humanitarian aid by over 200 projects implemented across 20 provinces of Afghanistan. With our headquarter in Kabul, we have 10 active provincial offices in Parwan, Bamyan, Ghazni, Nangarhar, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Panjshir, Herat, Daikundi and active presence in Kandahar and Balkh. Currently WSTA has 400 active employees which includes 320 males and 80 females. WSTA provides livelihood, vocational training, education, shelter, water and food assistance to most vulnerable communities particularly women in Afghanistan.
