Humanitarian Assistance Society (HAS) is a non- profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization. It is registered with the Ministry of Economy under license # 97, HAS works to support the struggle against poverty, hunger, and social injustice. We work in a variety of sectors including health and nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), good governance, capacity building, social justice awareness-raising, advocacy, and human rights promotion and protection. HAS has been helping vulnerable Afghan communities since 2002 through launching different interventions in more than 30 provinces of Afghanistan.
